More than 40 children from foster care institutions of Dnepropetrovsk took part in the master classes. Experienced chrocheters taught the children not only to crochet beautiful ornaments, for example, New Year’s stars, but also to make greeting cards.
The special guest — TV presenter and singer Anzhelika Rudnitskaya — helped the children to learn new skills. Anzhelika has a vast experience in arranging such events, in particular, for children’s departments of cancer treatment centres all over Ukraine. This time, she took part in the crocheting master class to support the "Family For a Child" project, foster parents who established family-type homes, and their foster children.
The master classes were organised as part of the "Family For a Child" project with the framework of the "No to Orphancy" program implemented by Rinat Akhmetov’s Foundation. The project partner is the charity organisation Siyaniye Radugi.
Rinat Akhmetov’s Foundation for Development of Ukraine intends to use the best crocheted snowflakes for decorating greeting cards.
